30 Day trial for March 2008
Wow! February has come and gone so fast!
To recap, my trial aims for Feb was to
1) Do the 4sets of tabata intervals daily.
2) Finish up the cantonese program
3) Spend 1 hour a day reading development books (websites do not count. And trust me, this is brutal)
4) Swim once a week.
Unfortunately, it didn't work out well.
30 Day trial for February 2008
In January, I wrote about a 30 day trial thing I heard about from Steve Pavlina's blog. Unfortunately, I wasn't too successful. One of the main reason was that erm... my own willpower wasn't strong enough, and I did not have enough external motivation.
In January, the 30 day trials I attempted was,
1) To wake at 5am everyday
2) Learn cantonese (I got a 30 day program, where you go through 1 lesson a day)
3) Do 100 crunches everyday.
Change things, with a 30 day trial
Most people make new year resolutions during the hedonistic weeks of christmas, new years, drinking, and partying. Most of the times unfortunately, it doesn't seem to even last through the middle of January.
Instead of creating new year resolutions, why not short term committments, like January resolutions. If it doesn't work out, like you didn't appreciate the effects or something, just feel free to abandon it on 31st Jan.
